Terms
What you get, and what it costs.
Last updated: July 2026
These terms cover commissioned reports and Echo Radar subscriptions. Reading the published briefs on Echo is free and needs no agreement — see privacy for what the site collects.
What we deliver
A research report on the topic you commission, based on public posts and their engagement across our source set, East and West. Delivered as a private, unlisted web page plus a PDF. Standard turnaround is 3 business days from the point we confirm scope, not from the point you first write to us.
Every factual claim in a report carries a link to the evidence behind it. Where a report reasons beyond what the evidence literally shows, that reasoning is labelled as inference. A report will tell you what it could not establish; how that is enforced is published.
What we do not deliver: legal, medical, financial or investment advice. A report describes what people said publicly. Decisions you take on the strength of it are yours.
Price and payment
$149 per commissioned report. Echo Radar is $299 per month. If a brief is unusual enough to fall outside the standard price, we tell you before starting — we will never invoice you for a number you have not agreed.
Payment by card or invoice, due on delivery for one-off reports and monthly in advance for Radar. Nothing is charged until you have approved the scope.
If it misses the brief
One revision or follow-up question is included with every report. Tell us what was missed and we will rerun or rework it. If the revised report still does not answer the brief you agreed, you do not pay — and if you have already paid, you are refunded in full.
This covers the report missing its brief. It does not cover a change of mind about the brief itself, or a finding you dislike: we report what the evidence says, including when that is inconvenient.
Confidentiality
Commissioned reports are private. They are delivered on unlisted pages, are never published on Echo, and are never indexed. We do not tell anyone what you commissioned, and we will not use your topic, your name or your brief as a reference, case study or marketing example without asking you first.
Anything you tell us in a brief stays between us. The one sample we publish was commissioned by nobody and has no client attached, which is why it can be public.
Who owns the report
You do. Once paid, the report is yours to use internally, to quote in your own work, and to share with your own client. Echo retains no claim over your use of it and does not resell it.
Two levels of branding:
- Commissioned reports ($149): yours to share with your client as delivered. We ask that the Echo credit line stays on the document.
- Echo Radar ($299/month): full white-label. Reports are delivered unbranded, ready to carry your own logo, with no attribution required.
Neither tier permits reselling the report itself as a standalone product, or republishing it publicly in full. Using it inside paid client work is exactly what it is for. If you need something outside this, ask — it is negotiable.
Reports quote and link to public posts by third parties. Those posts belong to their authors; quotation is for research and commentary, and does not transfer to you any right in the underlying content.
Cancelling
Echo Radar can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the month you have paid for. There is no minimum term and no exit fee. A commissioned report can be cancelled for a full refund at any point before we begin the run; once a run has started we will deliver it, and the guarantee above applies instead.
Limits
A report covers what was publicly posted and retrievable within its window. It is not a complete census of opinion, and platforms change what they expose without notice. Where coverage was thin or a source did not qualify, the report says so rather than papering over it.
Our liability for any report is limited to what you paid for it. Given the guarantee above, that means the realistic worst case is you pay nothing.
